Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Royal Tales provides a service that transforms children's drawings into personalized storybooks. We offer digital ebook (PDF) and printed book options.

2. Payment Terms

  • All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT.
  • Payments are processed securely via Yoco.
  • Your order is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.

3. Refund Policy

  • Before production: Full refund available if requested before we begin creating your book.
  • After production begins: No refunds once the book has entered production, as each book is custom-made.
  • Damaged goods: If your printed book arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days for a replacement or refund.

4. Shipping

  • We currently only ship within South Africa.
  • Estimated delivery time is 7–10 business days from order confirmation for printed books.
  • Digital ebooks (PDF) are delivered via email within 3 business days.
  • Shipping fees are charged separately and displayed at checkout.

5. Intellectual Property & Copyright

Important:You must only upload original drawings made by your own children. You must not upload drawings that copy or depict copyrighted or trademarked characters, including but not limited to Disney, Marvel, Pixar, Pokémon, Nintendo, or any other protected intellectual property. Orders found to contain such drawings will be refunded and cancelled. By uploading a drawing, you confirm it is your child's original creation and indemnify Royal Tales against any intellectual property claims arising from the content you submit.

6. Limitation of Liability

Royal Tales is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific order in question.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
